This pet store is something truly special. The owner, Michael, is one of the kindest, most genuine people you will ever meet. My dog, Pippin, normally does not like men at all, yet from the very first visit, he absolutely adored Michael. Every time we walk in, Michael greets him with warmth, treats, and such gentle kindness. Both my dog and I genuinely love coming here, and the entire staff is just as wonderful. To Pip, this place is Doggy Disneyland!
I also have to mention Michael’s dog, Grizzly, who I instantly fell in love with. After admiring how healthy and happy Grizzly looked, I asked Michael what he feeds him. That one conversation changed my dog’s life. The Steve’s food he recommended helped my dog lose weight, improved the quality of his diet, gave him more energy, and most amazingly, completely stopped his constant yeast infections. It has already saved me countless vet visits. I truly trust anything Michael or his store employees recommend now, I know they are always looking out for what’s best for Pip. :’)
One of my favorite things to do with Pip now is going in to the store to treat him to a new toy or one of the collagen chews Michael recommended, (which is now Pip’s favorite healthy treat,) and then picking up his food. It is such a fun outing for both of us. There is something about this place that feels so warm and welcoming, it's such a charming small-town pet store where people truly care. That kind of experience is a rare and beautiful thing these days.
I have recommended this pet store to so many people in person, and I sincerely hope it stays open forever, which is why I am writing this review (something I usually never do). It is a gift to have a place where you can bring your dog into an actual store and feel genuinely cared for. This is more than a pet store. It is a little community, and I am so grateful it exists!
